How to use a bong

1. You need to feel the bong with water

Users fill the bong with water in order to cool the smoke and filter out particulate matter. You can use both cold and hot water to fill your bong. You can also add ice if you have ice catcher on your bong and then adding just enough cold water, it will cool down the smoke so that more can be inhaled. Hot water can be filled because the steam helps bring moisture into the lungs. The drying effect of smoke, not the heat of the smoke, is the main reason people cough while using a water bong. Water level should be reasonable to adjust depend on your bong size. The more water that touches the surface of the smoke, it will make your smoking experience smoother.

2. Place your material into bowl

Better not pack so much that your smoking material will fall out of your bowl. Medium-tight is best to your smoking material. Installing metal screen in the crater of the utensil protects against drawing small particles of herb down inside to clog the channel

3. Sealing the opening as place your mouth with lips to the bong

If you are not sealed entire opening, you will not able to draw any smoke out.

4. Grip the bong, covering the carb with one hand.

Some bong comes with the carb which is a small hole located somewhere on the lower part of the bong above water level. Carb is first kept covered during the toke, then opened. You don’t need follow this step if you don’t have carb on your bongs.

5. Hold the lighter up to your bowl while simultaneously inhaling.

Your chamber on the bong will fill up with smoke. Inhale until you feel a sufficient amount of smoke has filled the chamber. Uncover the carb if you have one. Inhale the smoke. Breathe all the smoke into your lungs and try to hold the smoke then exhale slowly until you see no more smoke coming out.
